  4. False valuesPeople should evaluate themselves and others on who they are intrinsically (that is, on their grapheme and moral fiber), not on what they possess or where they stand in club. MathildeLoisel learns this lesson the difficult way. Related to this theme are the post-obit motifs: Appearances are deceiving. MathildeLoisel believed the necklace genuine the moment she saw it. Too, she believed that all the people at the party were existent, 18-carat human beings considering of their social standing and their possessions. The necklace, of course, was a fake. And, Maupassant implies, so were the people at the party who estimate Mathilde on her outward advent. Honesty, humility, and hard work are what shape grapheme, not the clothes or jewels that a person wears or the high station into which he or she is born.

  12. The moral The moral lesson to be learned from "The Necklace"is that a person volition pay dearly for appetent simulated valuesand a person's preoccupation withappearance and meterialism is fruitless and vain.Important to live within one'due south meansThe story teaches united states of america not to borrow things or money unnecessarily. It is besides not wise to live a pretentious life. If we borrow moneyunnecessarily,Mathilde borrows a diamond necklace.she lost it.and cause herhusbandAnd herself living in poverty. We must realize that it is of import to live within 1's means.

  13. Information technology is important to be contented in life and not to begreedyThe story teaches u.s. be contented in life and not to be greedy to wanteverything. Loisel is very contented in life fifty-fifty if he leads a simple lifewith the income he earns. Only on the other manus,Mathilde is obsessed to want all the delicacies and luxuries in life. This causes her to exist in her own globe and mean solar day dreams that she is wealthyand famous. Her greed causes them to endure for a period of ten years. Ifshe is contented with what she has and is realistic of the fact that she is thewife of an ordinary clerk, she would not have to infringe the necklace in thefirst place. It is important to exist practicalThe story teaches us to be practical and learn to solve problems carefully.Loisel is a downwardly-to-earth person. He knows that "all that glitters is notgold" and live life according to his means and capacity. He is able to findsolutions to the problems because he is practical. It is of import in life tobe practical and realistic. Mathilde, on the other hand, is not practical. Sheis a mean solar day-dreamer, who is in her own world. Subsequently in the story, Mathildebeomces practical as she faces the realities of life. Information technology is important to bepractical and not be carried away
